Archaeologist appointed member of AcademiaNet

Heide W. Nørgaard has been appointed a member of AcademiaNet, which is a database of profiles of excellent female researchers.

Independent Research Fund Denmark has nominated Heide W. Nørgaard from the Department of Archaeology and Heritage Studies to become a member of AcademiaNet. The portal, which has gained international ground, has its origin in Germany and contains profiles of outstanding female researchers.

Heide W. Nørgaard’s current research focuses on the origin and early developments in the Nordic Bronze Age through led/tin isotope analyses of bronze artefacts.

Heide W. Nørgaard has been appointed a member from 20 February 2018.
