One of our co-directors Derek Pardue will participate the bi-annual meeting of BRASA (Brazilian Studies Association) to take place in Salvador, Bahia from July 7-10, 2026. As one of the few instances of the meeting being held in Brazil, this event promises to bring together Brazilian experts and Brazilianists from around the world in debate on several global issues. Derek will focus on panels related to urban issues, sustainability, and queer identities related to key pillars of CEBRAGA.
