Following hands-on pedagogical approach of the Carpentries, the focus here is on the introductory computational skills needed for data management and analysis in all domains of research. By the end of the workshop, participants will able to quickly apply skills learned to their own research. The initial target audience is learners who have little to no prior computational experience.
The workshop will be taught in English.

- Data organisation in spreadsheets (pitfalls of Excel and how to avoid them)
- Data cleaning in OpenRefine
- Introduction to R
- Data analyses and visualisation in R
Prerequisites: computer with administrative privileges, power cord, no previous knowledge needed.
