This meeting submits perspectives on norwegian and danish nobility in a period, where the nobility had crucial economic and social power. This happens through a presentation about the norwegian nobility and their relationsship to the kingdom of Denmark, where it will be considered, if the norwegian nobility tried to promote special norwegian interests. Furthermore it involves an attempt to identify essential fields in danish nobility history, through an investigation of the nobles special position in the judiciary and finally by a fabrication of the central stage for the nobility, the king's court. The goal is both discussion and knowledge development.
