Social Resilliance Lab

Exploring the sources of long-term resilience of past and present societies

About

The Social Resilience Lab is a fresh and dynamic research group which aims to leverage historical and archaeological data to explore the sources of long-term resilience across a vast range of past and present societies, against stresses (such as climate change) and shocks (such as warfare or natural catastrophes). This vision is pursued collaboratively by our world-class interdisciplinary research team including archaeologists, complexity scientists, historians, mathematicians, social scientists and computer scientists.
