Videos

In these videos, you can hear stories about challenges related to everyday life, social relations, education, work and reflections on identity and self-esteem told by autistic role models. The role models advice others in similar situations and talk about how they found a way to cope with various challenges.

The videos are produced in relation to the research project Autistic Role Models, which studies the quality of life of individuals on the autism spectrum. It investigates how autistic role models can improve the chances of people on the spectrum to lead fulfilling lives. This is done by portraying snippets of autistic lives in which the model found alternative but successful solutions to the difficulties commonly encountered by members of the autistic community.
