To facilitate the programme’s exploration of political imaginaries of the future from both empirical and theoretical perspectives. The ambition is to develop a research-based programme on political futures. The priority is to establish this through exchanges among programme members and with external researchers with whom the programme interacts.
The goal is quite simply to establish the conversation, expand it into a broader research horizon and engage with the wider world around it. If we achieve that over the three-year period, we will have come a long way.
Political futures are here to stay. At the School of Culture and Society, we are uniquely well positioned to explore them through an interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary community of highly accomplished researchers.
