I’m a female Ugandan, holding a PhD in Sociology from Makerere University. I’m a Senior Lecturer at Lira University in the Department of Public Administration and Management. My research interest is in the fields of Social studies: Gender, Livelihoods, Development and Education on which I have published a number of papers.

I’m currently undertaking Postdoctoral Research Fellowship at Gulu University, Institute of Peace and Strategic Studies with support from Danida Fellowship Center and Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs. My research project is on emerging gender relations and future marriage partnership in post-conflict Uganda taking a case of Lango sub-region, northern Uganda. The project focuses on the implications of new forms of marriages and gender relations on the sustained livelihoods for men, women and girls and boys in the aftermath of the Lord’s Resistance (LRA) conflict.
