The research unit works across disciplines with public theology and ethics, bringing together scholars from theological and other academic fields. It focuses on contemporary theological, philosophical, and ethical issues such as views on humanity, diakonia, and justice. At the same time, it addresses major societal challenges like migration, climate, and welfare from a public theology perspective.
The research unit is part of the research programme affiliated with the Department of Theology at the Department of Culture and Society, Aarhus University.
