Info about event

Time

Tuesday 3 November 2020,  at 13:00 - 16:00

The Faculty of Arts’ Committee for Equality and Diversity is hosting a webinar on the diversity challenges of junior researchers during and after the corona lockdown. Diversity challenges range from challenges related to ethnicity, age, gender, socio-economic status and (physical or mental) disabilities to religion and so forth. This is an opportunity to shed light on some of the inequalities and challenges that we face and deal with in different ways in everyday life, and which the lockdown of society has exposed and intensified. At the webinar, there will be presentations by PhD fellows and postdocs on their experience of COVID-19-related challenges as seen from a diversity perspective, and by senior researchers specialised in stratification, diversity and gender equality in science from DANWISE and University of Copenhagen, who will present findings from their research. The presentations will be followed by a facilitated panel debate on COVID-19-related diversity challenges among junior researchers at ARTS.

The webinar will be held on the 3rd of November from 1 – 4 PM.
