Marie Hélène is a new PhD student in the CAS department. She moved to Aarhus from the Netherlands, where she recently finished her interdisciplinary master´s degree in ancient history and archaeology. Ready to further her career in academia, she has started to work on the project ´Recontextualising illicitly obtained indigenous art: the Apulian red-figured vases´, supervised by Vinnie Nørskov. During her time in Denmark, she will work on devising a method to recontextualise these illegally obtained artefacts, making them available for further research into the life and culture of the indigenous Italians of the 4th and 3rd centuries BCE.
