Rosanna Farbøl is returning to the School of Culture and Society as Assistant Professor

Rosanna Farbøl will be workning on a new research project on the nuclear hazard as a transnational sociotechnical imaginary in the 1980s.

Rosanna Farbøl joined the AU School of Culture and Society 1st August 2021 as Assistant Professor. Since receiving her PhD degree in History from CAS, Rosanna has spent three years as postdoc at the University of Southern Denmark and the University of Liverpool, UK. Besides eating brunsviger and watching football, she has been researching Danish and British Cold War civil defence and nuclear cultures, focusing in particular on how the imaginary war came to have tangible and concrete effects on everyday life. As Assistant Professor, Rosanna will be teaching courses on Cold War history and memory studies and preparing a new research project on the nuclear hazard as a transnational sociotechnical imaginary in the 1980s.
