Meat & Culture seminar

9 Researchers from Aarhus University, presented their view on meat in a cultural perspective. Hamburgers in a Jihadi context in Pakistan, farmes relation to their animal before slaughtering, whale catching in Greenland and BBQ-practices in Aarhus, are just some of the exciting topics that this seminar was about. Fremtid, Måltid, Nutid (Future, Meal, Present)

Institute of Meals and FOCUS invites some dedicated scientist, chefs and people to an experimental day at Sostrup Slot.

Our wish is that this day will create inspiration, foundation and interdisciplinary cooperations, with the goal of developing a Biennale for Meals, which will be held in june 2019.
