What does this place mean to you?
The Moesgaard campus is the home of my work life. With the best colleagues, students and surroundings. Whenever I invite guests from abroad I brag about this location - honestly. It is the most beautifully situated campus I know of, and I am grateful to be working here.
What is special about Moesgaard?
There is a particular atmosphere at Moesgaard. When you are here you are here😉. It is not like a railway station you are passing through on your way to somewhere else. You have worked hard on you bike though the woods, or driven by bus or car for a while before arriving here. I like that. It makes us who like it stay a little longer.
Do you have a favorite spot here?
I have several favorite spots. Walking in the woods with a colleague along the stream is number one. The staircase to the cellar in the pink main building is number two – because you can see and feel time with you feet on the steps. The last spot has unfortunately disappeared now. It was the swing – svævebane – situated somewhere between the new museum and the old Moesgaard. My kids used to love it when they were waiting for me, and once in a while I would take a swing myself – to remember having a bit of fun
