Due to the unique proximity between the museum, university campus and archaeological and anthropological research departments at Moesgaard, each benefitting from a series of shared facilities. 

These comprise a series of expertise and support provided by Tegnestuen and Archaeological IT. They also comprise a series of people who are particularly devoted to working across the museum-university interface, including affiliated museum curators being part of the teaching staff, affiliated university researchers working as curators on exhibitions, as well as two joint positions in archaeology (Mette Løvschal) and anthropology/ethnography (TBA).
