I am a PhD Student in Philosophy doing research on birth as a topic of existential philosophy. My project investigates the existential significance of birth with Søren Kierkegaard. The project is at the intersection of “classic" existential philosophy and contemporary feminist philosophy (on birth and natality). In particular, Hannah Arendt's concept of natality is also part of my research.
I am also interested in contemporary literature on mother- and parenthood and debates on care, reproduction, fertility and birth.
Currently, I am a visiting researcher at the Søren Kierkegaard Research Centre, University of Copenhagen
Underviser i faget Kierkegaard and Modern Existentialism (efterår 2022 og 2024) – i bl.a. Søren Kierkegaard, Simone de Beauvoir, Jean-Paul Sartre, Hannah Arendt, samtidslitteratur og -kultur og har derudover holdt gæsteforelæsning om Hannah Arendts begreb om natalitet.
