I am a moral and political philosopher with expertise on consent, promising, rights and duties, personal relationships, and animal rights. My current work is focused on understanding the nature of informational requirements on consent, especially in medical and technological contexts. I've also been working on questions about the necessity of uptake for morally transformative consent, the moral grounds of moral powers considered generally, and with a co-author on the topics of pets, interspecies justice, and political legitiamcy.
