My research focuses on using Bayesian modeling and radiocarbon dating to create high-resolution chronologies. In the past, I worked to improve the chronological framework of the Neolithic transition in the Dutch wetlands by conducting new radiocarbon dating, methodically evaluating datasets from earlier excavations, and devising strategies to overcome the calibration plateau impeding the desired timeframe. I spent a great deal of time in the isotope labs and conducting fieldwork, learning about both facets of archeological research. As part of the Milestone project overseen by Professor Sarah Croix, I am currently responsible for creating a chronology for the Lindholm Høje burial site.
