Where human beings live, violent practices flourish. Why is it so? And should we also understand God as violent?
My research focuses on the relationship between violence and religion, specifically how we can understand the phenomenon of violence from a theological standpoint. I am especially interested in René Girard's thinking. Furthermore, I investigate this and related questions within the framework of dramatic theology.
