The working title of Stephen’s study is “Child Filiation, Belonging and Property Rights: The Context of Different Partnership Situations and Single Parenthood. Cases from Gulu and Kumi Districts” The study will explore the experiences of men and women in the different generations, partnership situations and their current and imagined futures of marriage, child filiation, belonging and property rights in the different contexts of Northern and Eastern Uganda. The study will employ an ethnographic approach.
