MARITIME GATEWAY PRESENTS

Korean Peninsula is becoming an increasingly important part of the Indo-Pacific's maritime security landscape. As geopolitical competition intensifies, issues such as maritime trade, critical infrastructure, supply chains, energy routes, and naval security are gaining new strategic significance.

This panel explores how growing US-China rivalry, closer China-Russia-North Korea cooperation, and emerging Indo-Pacific partnerships are reshaping maritime security and connectivity in Northeast Asia. Particular attention will be given to South Korea's role as a maritime, technological, and defence-industrial power, as well as the prospects for strengthening regional resilience without deepening geopolitical divisions.
