Classical Antiquity and its Heritage

About

The research programme Classical Antiquity and its Heritage (CAH) studies the cultures, societies, and languages of Greco-Roman antiquity as well as their ever-changing reception until the present day.

CAH is built on the close collaboration of researchers from the disciplines of Classical Archaeology and Classical Philology and also maintains close links with researchers in other fields, such as History, Theology and the Study of Religion. The programme covers both material remains and textual sources from classical antiquity, and strives to develop new innovative and interdisciplinary approaches to the study of the ancient world. We take pride in being one of the strongest environments in the Nordic countries for research on the ancient Greek and Roman worlds.
