Classical Antiquity and its Heritage

About

The research programme ”Classical Antiquity and its Heritage” (CAH) studies the cultures, languages and societies of the classical world as well as their changing uses and meanings up until the present day.

CAH consists of researchers from the disciplines of classical archaeology and classical philology and also maintains close links with researchers within ancient history, theology and religious studies. The programme covers both material remains and textual sources from classical antiquity and strives to develop new innovative and interdisciplinary approaches to the study of the ancient world. We take pride in being one of the strongest environments in the Nordic countries for research on the ancient Greek and Roman world.
