Origen’s positive anthropology (human freedom and dignity) has been received in the Western theological and philosophical traditions as a way to challenge and change the leading Western theological anthropology with its focus on human sinfulness and divine pre-determinism of human beings. The presentation will focus on how reception and network theories and methods can be used to explore Origen’s contributions to theological and philosophical anthropology.
The seminar is open, no registration in advance is necessary.
