We are pleased to announce the interdisciplinary conference “The Second Nordic Graduate Conference on the Philosophy of Mind”, hosted by Aarhus University in collaboration with Oslo University at Sandbjerg Gods, Denmark. The conference will take place on 4th-6th of October.

 This invitation goes out to all PhD students associated with a Nordic research institution and whose work centres on the philosophy of mind. The conference will provide PhD students with the opportunity to present their research to an audience of their peers, discuss their research, and make new connections with colleagues working in the same field.

We invite submissions in the form of extended abstracts. Presentations on any topic related to philosophy of mind is welcome. The abstract should outline the main argument of the paper in a clear and accessible way, and should not rely extensively on non-standard terminology if it is not explained in the text. The submission should be between 500-1000 words (excluding a list of references). Each session will last 45 minutes, and the presentations should take no more than 30 minutes leaving room for at least 15 minutes of Q&A.

Submit your abstract to aumind.grad2022@cas.au.dk. For the submission, use “AUMind” in the subject, the abstract should be attached either as a word document or a pdf file. The deadline for submission is the 7th of August and you will receive a reply no later than the 10th of August.

 There is no fee for participating. We will cover food and accommodation for each participant from the 4th to the 6th of October. We will send details regarding logistics to all participants.
