Taught by an interdisciplinary and international team of full faculty members, the Master's degree programme in International Studies (IS) is a nationally and internationally recognized education. It provides students with knowledge of key concepts, theories and methods for the study of global phenomena and qualifies them to work in international environments and on global issues in the private and public sector.
In the first year, the programme includes courses on global society, global political economy, modern global history, global thought, international project management, and global politics. Students spend their third semester engaged in either a work placement or an international study exchange. The last semester is dedicated to writing a thesis. The core courses provide the students with transferable knowledge they can then use during their work placements and in their future careers.
All applicants are required to provide evidence of their Danish language profiency.
