I am writing a PhD within digital humanities/computational humanities on how the representations of Danish nature and landscape became a key narrative in the establishment of the Danish nation-state during the 19th century.
I work with literature, paintings, caricature, and newspapers. I am interested in how narratives are presented in different media and genres and the cross-section between cultural symbols, narration, and perceived reality.
