I am a philosopher of science with a particular focus on the complex interplay between science and society. My research primarily engages with feminist and social epistemology, alongside the philosophy of medicine and psychiatry. For example, I examine issues such as the challenges and alternatives to the value-free ideal in science, the conditions for fostering adequate public trust in scientific institutions, and the role of epistemic injustice in diagnostic classification and medical practice.
During the academic year 2025/2026, I am happy to be a research fellow at SOCRATES (Hanover), working on trust and trustworthiness in psychiatry: https://www.socrates.uni-hannover.de/en/.
