ChinGram is a transnational initiative to enhance the quality and accessibility of Chinese language education across Europe. Co-funded by the European Union Erasmus+ programme, ChinGram is developing a digital, multilingual platform that supports both learners and educators of Chinese through:
1. Comprehensive grammatical descriptions of 100 grammatical points
2. Interactive exercises
3. Practical teaching resources
4. Possibility to choose among 5 EU languages: Czech, Danish, German, Italian, and Polish
5. Insights grounded in linguistic diversity and applied pedagogy
By integrating research and classroom experience, the platform respond to the growing need for accessible digital learning materials for Chinese as a foreign language.
Project objectives and activities:
- Develop a digital grammar platform tailored for European learners
- Promote data-driven research in Chinese language acquisition
- Organize training workshops, expert lectures, and know-how exchanges
- Foster a sustainable network of Chinese language educators and researchers
- Create open-access teaching resources and publish joint research
- Disseminate findings to stakeholders across the EU, fostering wider adoption and upscaling
Are you a professor, researcher, or language program coordinator interested in joining the project in the future? We welcome new institutions to collaborate, co-develop, and scale the ChinGram platform across Europe. To reach our platform, visit chingram.upol.cz
