In 2019, the Czech and Slovak Republics are celebrating the 30th anniversary of the Velvet Revolution.
The revolutionary changes in Czechoslovakia that took place towards the end of 1989 led to the fall of the communist regime and transformation of the political establishment to democratic principles.
To mark this significant event, the Czech and Slovak Ambassadors in Denmark will hold a presentation and an open discussion about the revolution.
Both Ambassadors were part of the revolution in 1989.
